Welcome to Buena Vista Montessori Preschool!

We are a hands-on learning environment in which children learn, grow and thrive. Buena Vista strives to provide the highest quality education possible while ensuring that each child feels loved, honoured and respected.

We offer a 4 hour morning program (9:00 to 1:00) and a choice of coming 2 or 3 days a week. We also offer a 2 hour afternoon session every Tuesday and Thursday (1:30 to 3:30) and each class offers a mixed age grouping of 3, 4 and 5 year olds. We are a progressive Montessori school committed to fostering in each child a love of learning! We incorporate all of the traditional Montessori lessons and also strive to enrich our learning environment with a variety of activities ranging from: math, writing, reading, science, geography, circle time, cultural studies, music, french, yoga, practical life, show & tell, art, and so much more. As many of our students move on to French Immersion, one of our goals is to explore the French language on a daily basis through songs and poems as well as individual and group lessons.
